XHIMT (Channel 7 analog and Channel 24 digital) is the other channel TV station of TV Azteca.

XHIMT was one of three stations originally owned and operated by Imevision, a Mexican public broadcaster (XHDF-TV and XEIMT-TV were the others). In 1993, it and XHDF became part of the new commercial TV Azteca network, when the Mexican government dissolved Imevision.

Azteca 7 is the principal rival of Canal 5 of Televisa.
